Create a drum that is truly yours.
A drum that carries your own rhythm and voice.

During this process, you will slowly come back into connection with your natural inner rhythm.

Held on Phillip Island, surrounded by nature.

Wind, tides, and the ancient rhythm of the land naturally help the body slow down.

In this space, the body begins to relax,
and perception becomes clearer and more grounded.

This is a place that supports creation.
And also a place to simply be with yourself.

In many cultures, the drum carries rhythm, memory, and consciousness.
Its steady sound can guide the mind into a deeper state of awareness.

Some call it “the horse of the shaman” —
moving with rhythm, connecting and travelling between different layers of experience.

Each drum has its own sound and personality.
It slowly reveals itself through the making process.

On this day, you will create your drum with your own hands.

From choosing materials,
to weaving, tightening, and shaping,
the whole process unfolds naturally.

You are invited to move at your own pace,
guided by touch, pressure, and breath,
slowly building a relationship with your drum.

I will be there to support and guide you,
so the process feels steady, clear, and safe.

🌿 What’s Included

🪵 Materials Selection
Drum skin and frame size can be chosen personally:

⟡ You may book a time to come and choose in person
⟡ Or choose via photos / online

Once confirmed, your place will be reserved after payment.

Each skin and size carries a different texture, feel, and sound.

🌿 What to Bring
⟡ Two towels (one large, one small)
⟡ Pillowcase or cloth bag (to carry your drum home)
⟡ Water
⟡ Notebook and pen

You may also bring a shawl or small blanket
to help you feel more comfortable and relaxed during the process.

🌿 Personal Items (Optional)
You are welcome to bring something meaningful to you,
such as a stone, feather, jewellery, or an old object.

These items can be woven into the drum during the process,
becoming part of its energy and story.

When the drum is complete, you will strike its first sound.
The sound spreads through the space,
and also returns into the body.
